A prep wash removes loose dirt before paint decontamination. Iron removers and clay-bar treatment address bonded contaminants that ordinary washing may leave behind. Clean, properly prepared paint helps the ceramic coating bond as intended.
Machine polishing improves gloss and reduces visible swirl marks and marring before coating application. The correction level depends on the selected package and the paint's condition. Defects that remain after preparation may still be visible beneath the cured coating.
GYEON ceramic coating forms a hydrophobic layer that helps water bead and makes routine washing easier. It also helps protect the finish against environmental contaminants and UV exposure. However, ceramic coating does not make paint scratch-proof or prevent all water spots and chemical damage.
Three GYEON packages cover everything from a 2-year entry coating to full exterior protection with a 10-year warranty.
All 3 packages include full exterior detailing, decontamination, and a complimentary basic interior cleaning. Prices are starting figures, and Essence confirms the final package after seeing the paint.
Want rock-chip protection on the front end too? Paint protection film pairs with any coating package, quoted together.

There are a ton of detailers out there, but most only wash a car. This is true detailing. Taking the time to make small adjustments and clean the car back to like new. I trust Daniel with multiple cars and he has taken care of all of them. Perfect coating applications, product knowledge and attention to detail are top notch.
Daniel is the best detailer in the DMV area! The meticulous care and updates/transparency that was provided during the whole time my car was being detailed, gave me full confidence my vehicle was in the right hands. He brought my E92 M3 back to life and can’t thank him enough. The Gyeon ceramic coat and 2 step paint correction is some of the best value for money spent in keeping my car looking new.
If I could give 6 stars I would. The professionalism, communication and attention to detail was amazing. I always value service over cost and the level of service exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with the amazing job they did on my car, they brought a depth in the color that I have never seen since owning it.

Ceramic coating helps protect paint from UV exposure, chemical contaminants, and water spotting while improving gloss and making routine washing easier. In Ashburn, pollen, tree sap, and winter road grime can still accumulate on coated vehicles, but proper maintenance helps keep the finish clean. Ceramic coating does not prevent all scratches or rock chips; paint protection film offers additional physical protection against impacts.
Essentials uses GYEON CanCoat Professional, rated for up to 2 years, while Elite and Ultimate use GYEON Flash with a stated 10-year warranty, subject to the manufacturer's terms and maintenance requirements. Actual performance depends on the product, washing routine, driving habits, and parking conditions. Follow the applicable aftercare schedule to maintain the coating and any eligible warranty coverage.
Paint preparation helps ceramic coating bond to a clean surface, while machine polishing improves gloss and reduces suitable paint defects before application. Essentials includes Level 1 paint enhancement, Elite includes Level 1 paint correction, and Ultimate includes Level 2 paint correction. The appropriate correction level depends on the paint's condition and the selected package; defects that are not corrected may remain visible beneath the coating.
Ceramic coating adds a hydrophobic layer that improves gloss and helps protect against environmental contaminants, while paint protection film (PPF) provides a physical barrier against rock chips and road debris. Drivers who want both easier maintenance and impact protection may consider PPF on vulnerable panels and ceramic coating on remaining painted surfaces. Essence Auto Spa offers 3M and MiracleCoat film options; confirm compatibility and combined pricing during consultation.
Maintain a ceramic coating with regular hand washing and a pH-balanced automotive shampoo to remove road salt, pollen, and grime. Avoid abrasive cleaning methods and products that conflict with the coating manufacturer's care instructions. Essence Auto Spa recommends maintenance appropriate to the coating and vehicle's use. Confirm any required annual decontamination or rejuvenation services with the studio to preserve applicable GYEON warranty coverage.
